Successful summit of Mount Everest 2016

Bob and Nima are at the Advance Base Camp today after being on the Top of the World; The Mount Everest on 20th May 2016 at 7am local time from the North Col.

With their successful accent, Bob became the first person from UK to be on the summit of the Mount Everest after the gap of a year in 2015, the first time since 1974; nobody reached the top of the world's tallest mountain.
The China-Tibet Mountaineering Association (CTMA), made the decision to close all expedition in Tibet 2015 after the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake in the Himalayas.

The North Col route doesn't have the dangers of the Khumbu Icefall, but it necessarily does not mean it is safer. Making all the way to the summit is somehow equally challenging. From North Col., the last day of climbing to the summit is considerably longer and more technical than the summit day on the Southeast Ridge
Bob has sprained his ankle on the way to down. He safely made it to ABC and most importantly Nima is with him. They will pack their belonging and rest in ABC today and will continue to decent to the Base camp tomorrow. We pray for speedy recovery and safe journey back.
